WHS visit to Marthe Armitage studio
We still have a few places left for our visit to the studio and showroom of Marthe Armitage, now managed by her daughter, Jo Broadhurst. Members of the BAPH are welcome to join this special event.
Spring Meeting.
We have booked the Farringdon Room at St.Bride Foundation for our popular Spring Meeting. When the late Alan Crocker was Chairman he started the Spring Meeting as an opportunity for members to present topics that might be of interest to the rest of the membership. These topics can be short or long talks, videos, demonstrations or anything that is linked in some way, however tenuous, to paper.

Monograph No 19 has just been published – THE VENABLES OF COOKHAM: Papermakers, Politicians and Priests. The Venables were a significant family in the life of Cookham for well over a century, where they were major employers who ran the local paper mill.

2023 Annual Conference
We will be holding our Annual Conference at The Albrighton Mercure Hotel set in 15 acres of grounds on the outskirts of Shrewsbury in the beautiful County of Shropshire.
