The Wallpaper History Society is pleased to invite wallpaper and design enthusiasts to an online talk ‘The Life of Wallpapers: The Huard Collection at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum’ by Emily Banas, Associate Curator of Decorative Arts and Design at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum.
Emily will share unique insights into the intricate world of French 18th and 19th century wallpaper during this era, the peak of French wallpaper manufacturing. Learn about the history of design and the use of these wallpapers, as well as the couple that assembled the collection featured in RISD’s current exhibition, The Art of French Wallpaper Design.
