Wallpaper History Society

We still have a few places left for our visit to the studio and showroom of Marthe Armitage, now managed by her daughter, Jo Broadhurst. Members of the BAPH are welcome to join this special event.

Marthe Armitage is a renowned British wallpaper designer whose work is characterised by unique hand-drawn designs that are hand printed from lino blocks. Her daughter Jo Broadhurst now runs the studio where they design textiles as well as wallpapers.

Tickets for WHS and BAPH members are £24, available via the Eventbrite link below.

Jo will tell the story of the development of the business, and there will be a Q&A with Marthe. Jo will also have the press working for a hands-on look at how the wallpapers are made.
