34th Annual Conference 2023

We will be holding our Annual Conference at The Albrighton Mercure Hotel set in 15 acres of grounds on the outskirts of Shrewsbury in the beautiful County of Shropshire.
We are planning a visit and tour of The Shrewsbury Flax Mill and of Minsterley Church to see the Paper Bridal Garlands. We shall have lectures late afternoon on Saturday and on Sunday morning.
We welcome an international line-up of speakers with papers from:

Jasdip Singh Dhillon: “Changes beyond the surface” – The relationship between paper-making and human change in the Indus River basin region from 1000-1947.
Rosie Morris: “The Paper Bridal Garlands at Holy Trinity Church, Minsterley”
